SAE International will be holding its first conference in China – the 2008 SAE International Powertrains, Fuels and Lubricants Congress. The conference will be held at he Shanghai Marriott Hongqiao Hotel, with a strategic location in the center of the Hongqiao business district. The event is being held in collaboration with SAE-China and the China Automotive Technology and Research Corporation (CATARC).
The Congress will feature 100+ new papers on the latest technological innovations for advanced engines and powertrains (including small engines), control and calibration systems, fuels, emissions and lubricants. About one-third of the presentations will be available and presented in both English and Chinese, and all plenary sessions will feature simultaneous translations.
Ted Selby of Tannas Co. will be presenting a technical paper on HTHS viscometry. Tannas is represented by Universal in China, Hong Kong and Vietnam.
