Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – Given Universal Technology’s steady growth in China and current market coverage, and as a part of our overall growth strategy, we opened the doors of our first overseas office, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in July. Vietnam is an ideal place to establish a base for regional expansion, due to its developed industry, its large population of workers with good technical and communication skills, and its recent entry into the WTO. Ho Chi Minh City is the economic and commercial center of Vietnam, and hence Universal Technology has chosen to locate our office here.

Universal Technology is launching its operations in Vietnam in cooperation with existing long-term local partners, as well as with more than 20 of our suppliers for the Chinese market. Our sales activity in Vietnam is involved in the oil, petrochemical, plastic, pharmaceutical, and food industries, with more sectors under development. With an experienced local team, under the leadership of Vo Quang Trung, in place, we are confident in our ability to grow in the Vietnam market. Mr. Trung has extensive knowledge of the instrumentation and machinery market and has a full understanding of conducting business in Vietnam.
