Universal’s Abrasives unit has been one of the fastest-growing units in the company over the past couple of years. To support this growth and in view of the market demand, Universal decided to hold a series of seminars on precision grinding for customers and other relevant personnel in the grinding and machine tool industry.

From November 26-30, three separate seminars were held in Beijing, Xian and Shanghai, with a total of more than 130 engineering and production personnel attending. Representatives from the companies Dittel, Dr. Kaiser and Winterthur presented on the latest technological developments in applications ranging from precision grinding and dressing to process monitoring and oil filtering. Q&A sessions and small group discussions followed, which allowed attendees to interact and communicate with each other as well as with Dittel, Dr. Kaiser and Winterthur.

Feedback from attendees all agreed that the seminars were informative and useful. Universal will plan to hold more such events in the future. Check back on this website for the latest information.
