Recently, Universal Technology received an honorary membership plaque from the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), congratulating Universal Technology on becoming a member of the ASTM Standardization Organization.
ASTM is the abbreviation for the American Society for Testing and Materials, established in 1898, dedicated to researching and developing material specifications and test method standards, developing performance standards for various materials, products, systems, and service items, as well as testing methods, procedures, and other standards. As one of the world's largest international standard-setting institutions, ASTM has 105817 units participating in the development of ASTM standards, which are used and accepted worldwide, covering fields such as metals, coatings, plastics, petroleum, lubricants, construction, environmental protection, and healthcare. ASTM has over 140 technical committees, over 2000 chapters, and over 35000 members from 140 countries.
